Well we said we would go again and we did. Our expectations were held , the service was friendly and prompt, the halibut and fries were done as perfect as the last time, not greasy, thick large pieces of halibut , fries done just right, and a lovely fresh coleslaw.
We have had halibut and fries in several places and hands down this is the best and most reasonably priced out of all we've tried within 150 km of Campbell River.
We arrive just before the lunch crowd hits , within minutes it fills up but we still get great service and the meal arrives quick. -

I am visiting from California and I must say this place is a must try! The halibut fish and chip is so fresh and amazing! Thick cut halibut, fresh crisp coleslaw, and fries are fresh-cut. Service is very good and friendly. I had to com back a second time before I left Campbell River, BC because it's that good! I rarely give 5 stars to places and this place deserves it. Sit out on their patio with the view of water and Quadra Island.

Excellent fried fish served from a trailer that's been converted into a casual restaurant. The food is very good, in fact, I think this is the best fried fish I ever had.
Call them before you go because this restaurant is only open seasonally from spring to Labor Day. -

If you love a home cooked burger, this is the place to go. I ordered a Jiggers burger, mouth watering and melt in your mouth. Bacon was nice and crispy, perfectly cooked and the fries were excellent. The Cod and chips was also cooked to perfection and the coleslaw was awesome. Not the garbage most places give you, you can tell it is homemade and the dressing is perfect.
This is one of my places to go when i am out and about. Glad i found the place. You have a nice ocean view, with a breeze on the outside patio that's semi enclosed. It's perfect for a nice sunny day to dine by the ocean! -

Great seaside patio, plenty of parking, friendly staff, reasonable prices, high quality fish. Halibut & chips beautiful, batter medium. Delicious!
